What We Do...
A variety of activities are provided within The Ark Centre.
From reading, writing, music therapy, sensory stimulation, a sensory room, a cinema room, a relaxation tub & community walks. We also offer a variety of day trips such as zoos, farms, parks, theatres & local museums.
Our team are fully trained, with their own personal development plans.
Achievements include Diplomas in Health & Social Care level 2 up to level 5, including various Specialist Training such as Autism, Makaton & Epilepsy.
The suitable staff member carries out a robust induction progress alongside verified by (DBS) Disclose and Barring Service. We are always keeping up-to-date with training throughout employment!
The Ark Centre provides a day service for Adults with Learning Disabilities, Autism, Physical Disabilities & Mental Health between the ages of 18-65. In a bright, colourful, spacious building with a large garden area.
We provide a high standard level of care to all individuals, by actively using the person centred approach.
This is to enhance the individual's own personal goals & enjoyment whilst attending the centre.

8:30am - 5pm
Monday - Friday
Closed on Bank Holidays, Weekends & Christmas Week.
